How to find and register for a Workshop — Continu's live, instructor-led learning sessions.
Workshops are live sessions that happen at a specific date and time. Some are in-person; most are virtual (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet). To attend a Workshop, you have to register first — registration both reserves your seat and adds the session to your Continu Calendar (and optionally to your external calendar, if connected).
How to Find Workshops
Calendar. Click Calendar in the left navigation to see all upcoming Workshops you can register for.
Explore. Workshops also appear in the content library on Explore. Filter by Workshop content type to see only Workshops.
Direct assignment. If a Workshop has been assigned to you specifically, it appears on your Dashboard.
How to Register
1. Open the Workshop. Click on the Workshop card from your Dashboard, Calendar, or Explore.
2. Choose a session (if the Workshop has multiple dates).
3. Click Register. You'll receive a confirmation email and the session is added to your Continu Calendar.
4. (Optional) Add to your external calendar. The confirmation email includes a calendar invite. If you've connected Google Calendar or Outlook in your account settings, the event is added automatically.
How to Unregister
If you can no longer attend, return to the Workshop, choose the session you registered for, and click Unregister. Your seat is released and the calendar event is removed.
Some Workshops are mandatory and don't allow unregistration — these are typically tied to an Assignment. Contact the Workshop organizer if you genuinely can't attend.
Joining the Session
Virtual Workshops. The meeting link appears on the Workshop page about 15 minutes before the session. Click Join to open Zoom/Teams/Meet in your browser or app.
In-person Workshops. The location is listed on the Workshop page. Show up to the listed address.
If you don't see a Join link for a virtual session, refresh the Workshop page. If it's still missing within a few minutes of start time, contact the Workshop organizer.
Common Questions
I can't register — the button is disabled. See I am Unable To Register For A Workshop for the common causes (session full, registration closed, not part of audience).
I missed the Workshop. Is there a recording? Workshop recordings are at the organizer's discretion. Check the Workshop page after the session — if recorded, the recording appears there. For Zoom Workshops, see Zoom Workshops: Recordings And Automatic Attendance.
I registered but didn't get a confirmation email. Check your spam folder. If still missing, check your notification preferences in Profile Settings — confirmation emails depend on email notifications being enabled.
