Learner-specific tips for using Explore — the content library where you can browse beyond what's assigned.

Your Dashboard shows what you've been assigned. Explore shows everything you have access to — content you can engage with on your own, beyond formal assignments. Think of Explore as the open library and Dashboard as the to-do list.

For the wider Explore tour, see Navigating Explore. This article is the learner-specific deeper dive — how to use Explore effectively when you're learning on your own.

Browsing vs Searching

Browse when you don't know exactly what you're looking for. Open a Category that fits your interests and scroll. Continu's Categories are curated by your admin to group related content.

Search when you know the topic. Type a keyword into the search bar. Continu searches titles, tags, descriptions, and Article body text.

Tips for Finding Useful Content

Use tags to filter across Categories. A "Sales Skills" tag might appear on content in multiple Categories. Clicking the tag shows all tagged content in one place.

Check Recommended For You. The top of Explore shows personalized recommendations based on your engagement and role. See Recommendations AI.

Sort by recency. If your organization publishes new content frequently, sort by Most Recent to see what's been added since you last visited.

Filter by Content Type. If you specifically want a Workshop or Video, filter the results to that content type.

Engaging With Content

Like. Tells the author and the recommendation system you found it useful.

Comment. Ask questions, share insights, or tag colleagues. See Comment on Content.

Save for later. If your organization has saved content enabled, you can bookmark items to return to.

Common Questions

I can't find something I know exists. Usually a permission issue — content can be segmented to specific audiences. If you should have access, ask your program owner.

The same content shows up in multiple Categories. Content can be tagged with multiple Categories. This is intentional — it makes the content discoverable from different starting points.

Can I rearrange Explore? Yes — drag-and-drop reorders Categories. See Rearranging Content On The Explore Page.
