What Continu AI does
Continu AI answers questions about your Continu data conversationally. Type a question the way you would ask a colleague, and it returns a visualization of the answer, often surfacing related trends alongside the specific result. It is useful for ad hoc questions that do not justify building a dashboard, and for drafting visualizations you want to keep.
Ask a question
- Open Insights and select the AI option from any dashboard.
- Type your question, for example “module completions by department this quarter.”
- Review the result. Refine the question to change the grouping, timeframe, or metric.
- To keep the result, pin it to a dashboard.
Writing questions that work
- Name the metric. “Completions,” “workshop attendance,” and “active learners” give better results than “how are we doing.”
- Add a timeframe. “This quarter,” “last 90 days,” or “all time.”
- Say how to group it. “By department,” “by location,” “by manager.”
- Iterate. Treat the first answer as a starting point and refine from there.
Example questions to try: “completion rate by department this quarter,” “most active learners this month,” “workshop attendance by location over the last 90 days,” “which content has the most views this year.”
