Waitlisting is an option for Users who want to attend an attendance capped Workshop, and have a fair chance at registering.
The waitlist works based on the order in which a user was added to the waitlist. Waitlisted users are moved to registered user status daily, and this allows admins to either manually add users who are over-waitlisted or allow users to realize they made a mistake and re-register.
Waitlist functionality applies to single-session Workshops; multi-session Workshops do not currently support this.
