My account is suspended. How do I reinstate it?

You see a suspended-account message and can't sign in. The reinstate action is on the admin side, not the user side.

A suspended Continu account can't sign in. Suspension typically happens automatically — your HR system removed you from the active employee list, or your admin manually suspended your account. Once suspended, you can't reinstate yourself — an admin has to do it.

How to Resolve

1. Contact your Continu admin or Learning team. Let them know your account is suspended and confirm with them whether you should still have access. If you've left the company, the suspension is intentional and won't be reversed.

2. If your account was suspended in error — for example, you changed roles and the HR system briefly marked you as inactive — the admin can reinstate you from the admin user list.

For admins reinstating an account: See the "This account is no longer active" Error article for the reinstate steps. The flow is: Admin → Users → filter to Suspended → find the user → Reinstate.

If HRIS Sync Is Causing Repeated Suspension

If your admin reinstates you and the next HRIS sync suspends you again, the issue is at the HRIS — your employee record isn't being maintained as active. Talk to your HR or IT team. Continu reflects whatever the HRIS says about your status.
