The Continu Eddy extension opens Eddy in a side panel in Chrome, so you can ask questions about your company’s learning content without leaving the page you’re on. Install it from the Chrome Web Store, enter your company domain, sign in with your Continu account, and start asking questions.

Before you start

• You need an active Continu account.
• Eddy must be enabled for your organization. If you’re not sure, ask your Continu Admin.
• You need your company’s Continu domain, such as yourcompany.continu.co. It’s the address you use to sign in to Continu in your browser.

Install the extension

1. Open the Continu Eddy listing in the Chrome Web Store.
2. Click Add to Chrome, then click Add extension to confirm.
3. Click the Extensions (puzzle piece) icon in the Chrome toolbar.
4. Click the pin icon next to Continu Eddy to keep it in your toolbar.

Sign in

1. Click the Continu Eddy icon in your toolbar. The Eddy side panel opens on the right side of the browser.
2. On the Sign in to Continu screen, enter your company domain in the Company domain field (for example, yourcompany.continu.co).
3. Click Continue.
4. Enter your Continu email and password, then click Sign in with email.

If you entered the wrong domain, click change next to the domain name on the sign-in screen to go back and enter it again.

Ask Eddy a question

After you sign in, the side panel shows Hi! I’m Eddy. Type your question in the Ask Eddy a question… box at the bottom of the panel and press Enter, or click the arrow button.

Eddy answers from your organization’s learning content in Continu and lists the sources it used under the response. Click a source to open it in Continu.

The side panel stays open as you move between tabs, so you can keep a conversation going while you work. To close the panel, click the X in its upper right.

Sign out

Click Sign out in the upper right of the Eddy side panel. The next time you open the extension, you’ll be asked for your company domain and credentials again.

If you can’t sign in

• Check your domain. Enter only the domain from your browser’s address bar when you’re signed in to Continu. For example, if your address bar shows https://yourcompany.continu.co/explore, enter yourcompany.continu.co. Leave off https:// and anything after .co.
• Use your Continu password. The extension uses the same email and password you use to sign in to Continu.
• Confirm Eddy is enabled. If you can sign in but Eddy doesn’t respond, ask your admin to confirm that Eddy is turned on for your organization.
• Sign out and back in. If your role or permissions changed recently, signing out and back in refreshes your access.
