Workshop date and time errors: check your computer's clock settings

A Workshop shows the wrong date or time, or you can't register because the times look off. The cause is usually your computer's clock, not the Workshop itself.

Continu displays Workshop dates and times in your computer's local time zone. If your computer's clock or time zone is set manually and has drifted, or is set to the wrong zone entirely, Workshops will appear at the wrong times. Setting your clock to automatic resolves this immediately.

Windows

1. Open Settings. Press the Windows key, type Settings, press Enter.

2. Go to Time & Language → Date & Time.

3. Toggle ON: Set time automatically.

4. Toggle ON: Set time zone automatically.

5. Click Sync now to force an immediate sync.

macOS

1. Open System Settings. Apple menu → System Settings.

2. Click General → Date & Time.

3. Toggle ON: Set time and time zone automatically using your current location.

If your Mac asks for permission to use Location Services for time zone, allow it.

After Updating Your Clock

Refresh Continu in your browser. Workshop times should now display correctly in your zone. If a specific Workshop still looks wrong, contact the Workshop's instructor or your admin — the issue may be the Workshop's configured time zone, not yours.
