Download Workshop Activity Reports

How to download a Workshop activity report — registrations, attendance, and learner details — for analysis or reporting outside Continu.

Workshop activity reports export the data Continu tracks about who registered, attended, and missed each session of a Workshop. Use the report when you need data in a spreadsheet (for analysis, compliance evidence, or sharing with stakeholders) or when you need a record that lives outside the Continu interface.

The exported report includes:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Department (if available)
  • Location (if available)
  • Calendar Status (if Google Calendar is enabled for your org — contact support@continu.com to set up)

How to Download a Workshop Activity Report

1. Open the Workshops list. Navigate to Create > Workshops from the side panel.

2. Open the Workshop. Click the Info icon next to the Workshop you want a report for.

3. Select sessions to include. Use the checkboxes next to each Workshop session/date to choose which sessions to include in the report. Pick one session, several, or all.

4. Click Download Report. A .csv file downloads automatically with the selected sessions' data.

What to Use the Report For

Compliance evidence. Workshops tied to compliance or certification programs need defensible attendance records. The .csv export provides that record for audits.

Stakeholder reporting. Program owners often need to share attendance numbers with leadership. The export gives you the raw data for the reporting format your stakeholders expect.

Cohort analysis. Compare attendance across cohorts, sessions, or time periods to spot trends — which sessions had low completion, which audiences engaged most.

Follow-up automations. Filter the export for learners who missed a session and follow up with them, either manually or by feeding the list into an automation.

Common Pitfalls

Reporting Before Attendance Has Synced. Attendance can take an hour or two (Zoom, Teams) or longer (Google Meet sometimes) to flow back into Continu after a session ends. Don't pull a report immediately after the Workshop — give the integration time to update.

Missing Calendar Status. Calendar Status only appears if Google Calendar is enabled at the org level. If you don't see it and need it, contact support to set it up.

Selecting All Sessions on a Long-Running Workshop. A Workshop that's run weekly for a year exports a very large file. Filter to the relevant period before downloading.

Treating the Report as Real-Time. The .csv is a snapshot at the moment of download. For ongoing tracking, refresh the report periodically rather than relying on an older export.

Where This Fits

You're here because you need attendance data outside Continu. For attendance logic itself (how attendance is tracked across meeting integrations), see Calendar Behavior and Attendance Logic.
