You finished an Assessment but the Submit button is greyed out and won't respond. Usually a missing required answer or a multi-select question that needs more selections.
The Submit button on an Assessment activates only when every required question has a valid answer. If anything is missing, incomplete, or doesn't meet a multi-select minimum, Submit stays disabled. The fix is finding the unanswered question and completing it.
How to Resolve
1. Check the answered indicator. Most Assessments show an X/X counter at the bottom of the page (e.g., 8/10 answered). If the counter shows fewer answered than total, scroll back to find the unanswered question.
2. Look for multi-select questions. Square checkboxes mean you can select multiple options. Round toggles (radio buttons) mean you select one. Multi-select questions sometimes require a minimum number of selections — if so, the question text usually says "select at least X" or similar.
3. Scroll the entire Assessment. If the Assessment is long, the unanswered question may be off-screen. Scroll up and down to verify every question shows an answer or selection.
4. Refresh the page if Submit still won't activate. Rarely, a browser issue prevents the Submit button from registering your answers. Refreshing forces a re-evaluation. Note: refreshing may also reset answers if the Assessment doesn't auto-save, so this is a last resort.
If All Questions Appear Answered
Contact your Assessment owner or admin. They can verify the question configuration — a question may have an invalid required-answer setting on their end. Provide a screenshot of the Assessment with the Submit button visible so they can confirm what you're seeing.
