You completed an assignment but it still shows as overdue or assigned. What's happening and how to resolve it.
When you finish a piece of content tied to an assignment, Continu has to register the completion against the assignment record. There's usually a short delay between completing the content and the assignment status updating. In most cases this resolves within a few minutes. When it doesn't, the cause is usually one of three things below.
How to Resolve
1. Refresh the page. The Dashboard caches the assignment list. A refresh pulls the latest state. This resolves the majority of cases.
2. Confirm you completed every required piece. If the assignment is a Learning Track or Journey, every required item has to be completed before the assignment counts as finished. Open the Track or Journey and check which items still show as incomplete.
3. Check whether the content was reset. An admin may have reset the assignment or the underlying content (for example, after an assessment update). Your prior completion is preserved in your history but the new attempt starts fresh.
If It Still Shows Overdue After 30 Minutes
Contact your program owner or admin. There may be a deeper sync issue between the content completion record and the assignment record. The admin can verify the underlying completion state and, if necessary, manually mark the assignment as complete.
