How learners view the badges they've earned — their own collection on their profile, and what badges other learners have earned (if enabled).

Badges are visible on learner profiles after they're earned. The visibility scope depends on your organization's configuration — some instances make badges visible to everyone in the org, while others restrict visibility to the badge owner and their managers.

For the strategic frame on badges, see Badges and Recognition: Designing a Strategy for Reinforcement.

How Learners View Their Own Badges

1. Click the profile icon at the top right of any Continu page.

2. Click My Profile.

3. Scroll to the Badges section. All earned badges appear here with their name, earn date, and any associated description.

Click any badge to see the full description, the requirements that earned it, and (if applicable) a shareable link.

How Admins and Managers View Learners' Badges

Admins and managers with appropriate permissions can view any learner's earned badges from the learner's profile in the admin or manager view.

1. Open Admin → Users (admins) or the Manager Dashboard (managers).

2. Find the learner.

3. Open their profile.

4. Scroll to the Badges section.

The view shows the same information learners see on their own profile.

Badge Visibility to Other Learners

Whether other learners can see each other's badges depends on your organization's settings:

Public: Badges visible on the learner's public profile, viewable by anyone in the org.

Private: Badges visible only to the learner themselves, their managers, and admins.

If you're not sure which mode your organization uses, check with your admin.

Sharing Badges Outside Continu

Some badge configurations include a shareable link or downloadable image. Click the badge to see what sharing options are available. Common destinations include LinkedIn, internal company directories, or external credentialing platforms.
