Enabling BambooHR

To enable BambooHR within Continu, follow the steps below.

Please note: To set up the integration correctly, a user with admin-level privileges within Bamboo must establish the connection.


1. Within BambooHR, click on the avatar icon

 

2. Select the API Keys link

 

3. Click the Add New Key button

 

4. Name your API Key 

 

5. Click the Generate Key button

 

6. Click the Copy Key link and save the API information in a safe place (you will need this later)

 

7. Click the Done button to finish the API Key setup

 

8. Navigate to Continu and click Admin

 

9. Select Settings

 

10. Select Integrations

 

11. Click the BambooHR button (under the HRIS area)

 

12. Add your BambooHR subdomain (this is usually the first part of the url - eg: company.bamboohr.com) to the BambooHR subdomain area 

 

13. Paste the API Key (that you created earlier) into the BambooHR API-Key area

 

14. Enable the correct Sign-In method that your organization utilizes to access Continu. (Check with your IT Team if you are not sure of the current setup)

 

15. Define if new users into Continu will receive invite emails when they are added to BambooHR (this option also applies if you are utilizing a Single Sign On provider)

 

16. Add the users that will need to be Admins or Creators within Continu when they are first added/updated to BambooHR. (Anyone not defined, will default to users when they are added/updated in Continu)
